Choosing a celebrant for your wedding means maximum flexibility, inclusivity, and personalisation. You collaborate with your celebrant to design a ceremony that can take place anywhere, at any time, and exactly how you envision it. Dream of a ceremony featuring a family sing-a-long? Absolutely! Want your children to have a starring role? That's easily arranged.

An added benefit is that a celebrant-led wedding can be a cost-effective choice. Since you aren't tied to a licensed venue, you don't need to factor that significant expense into achieving your perfect ceremony.

With CG Celebrancy, our journey together starts long before your wedding day. While many officiants only meet you moments before the ceremony, my approach is different.

We will be in touch throughout your planning period because my goal is to truly get to know you as a couple. This personal connection is the key to creating your beautiful, bespoke ceremony.

As your celebrant, I'm here to guide you every step of the way, and by the time your special day arrives, we'll feel like the best of friends.

One of the greatest advantages of choosing an Independent Celebrant for your wedding is the complete freedom it provides.

You are not limited by restrictions on time, location, or the content of your ceremony. This means your dream wedding can happen exactly when, where, and how you envision it.

I am also committed to creating inclusive ceremonies, and joyfully honouring love in all its forms. Your wedding ceremony should feel authentic and truly represent you as a couple.

Whether you envision a ceremony filled with traditional romance or prefer something more fun and lighthearted, together we will design and deliver a unique event that truly reflects you as a couple.

This is your ceremony, crafted exactly how you want it - your ceremony, your way.

WEDDING PACKAGE

Cost: £870

Deposit: 20% non-refundable deposit to secure the date (with the final balance due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day).

What is included:

  • Initial Questionnaire: To create the backbone of your ceremony.

  • First Planning Meeting: Held in person or via video call.

  • WhatsApp Group: A dedicated space to discuss thoughts, ideas, and inspiration throughout the process.

  • Personalised Vows: Assistance if you prefer not to write your own.

  • Readings Booklet: For inspiration and guidance.

  • Venue Visit: Accompanied visit if you desire.

  • Final Script Review: Shared 3–4 weeks before the wedding for any final tweaks. This is a great opportunity to meet again in person! (Alternatively, you can choose to keep the script a surprise)

  • Printed keepsakes: Printed copies of script, vows and readings for you to keep. 

  • Wedding Day Coordination: I will arrive 1–1.5 hours early to set up, liaise with your wedding planner and suppliers, and ensure everything is perfect.

THE WEDDING PROCESS

  • Once you have paid your 20% deposit and signed your contract, your wedding day will be locked in and only reserved for you. 

    • During the script writing process, I will set up a WhatsApp chat with you for us to share ideas, thoughts and inspiration! See a cute idea on TikTok? Send it over! It is a great opportunity to have all of our creative ideas in one place.

    •  I will send you a questionnaire so that I can start to create the backbone of your script. This will include your past journey, future goals and any elements you may wish to include in your ceremony. 

    • We will then have a planning meeting either on a call or face to face to discuss your questionnaire answers and for you to ask me any questions or share ideas. 

    • Lastly, I very much love the opportunity to meet you face to face before the big day. Depending on the circumstances, a lovely opportunity is to visit your venue or having a ceremony run through. The great part of having a celebrant-led ceremony is that you get to know the person who is sharing your story. Establishing a relationship is so important so that you feel at ease.  

  • Using all of the inspiration from our interactions, I will start to create your dream script! A few weeks before the big day, I will get in touch with you and share your script (unless you want it to be a surprise…). We will also confirm the finalised plans for the day, readings you have chosen and anything other information vital to your day.

  • Finally it is time to marry the love of your life! I will arrive at least one hour before the ceremony, liaise with the other suppliers and set up any aspects of the ceremony that we have planned. All you need to do is enjoy this magical moment.
